I wish question
What is the right answer?
I wish it ...... I have to leave now.
A) didn't rain.
B) isn't raining.
C) doesn't rain.
D) hasn't rain.
I’m sorry to say that none of them are right. The only one that is grammatically correct is A but it doesn’t make sense in the context.
We use I wish to mean that something is not what we want and we regret it. We put the verb ‘more in the past’.

I’ve used the active form there but some people think you should use the subjunctive. In many cases that’s the same as the active but not always.
It’s raining. I wish it weren’t raining.
He’s coming. I wish he weren’t coming.
I’m fat. I wish I were thin.
